Tafco's new Blast Chiller product line is available in both single and double compartment sizes. The Blast Chiller allows end users to minimize the possibility of food spoiling bacteria. Bacteria can form quickly, particularly when food is between 140°F and 40°F, so it’s essential for restaurants and food service providers to be able to lower food temperature quickly, thus reducing time spent in the range of 140°F to 40°F.
Tafco’s Blast Chiller can cool the temperature of up to 250 lbs. of food to less than 40 °F in less than 90 minutes, without freezing, which is far superior to standard walk-in coolers. The Blast Chiller is HACCP compliant, and meets or exceeds all health code standards. It’s essential for large commercial kitchens and indeed, every large restaurant should have one.
